Victoria “Torie” Gregory - Handmade Jewelry & Paintings
BORN - 1950 Erie, Pennsylvania
Torie studied Fine Art at Wilson college in Pennsylvania and went on to work with Bucks County Playhouse, New London Playhouse, Christine Fenley Dancers and The Hochstein School. Torie is a talented dancer and a significant part of her career was spent as director, instructor and principal dancer with the Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Early in her career Torie apprenticed with jewelers in Province Town, MA and Chicago, IL where she was part owner at Silverlining. Her work as an accomplished metalsmith and bench jeweler led to the design of her own custom silver jewelry pieces currently for sale at Studio 312 in the Anderson Arts Building Rochester, NY.
Today, Torie continues to dance with the Rochester Oasis Tappers, paints, creates large scale collage and is an accomplished jeweler.
