Carol Domenico is the studio curator…..
she designs and paints a number of one-of-a-kind silk garments at her studio in Rochester, NY. There, in Studio 312 at the Anderson Arts Building, she exhibits hundreds of scarves, sarongs, ties, wall hangings, and capes.
Her exquisite, hand painted work reflects her love of color, texture, and nature.
Carol studied fabric design at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Parson’s School of Design in New York City.
Carol earned a BFA and an MST from the prestigious Rochester Institute of Technology.
Honing her skills in color theory while working at a NYC textile studio, Carol was an art teacher at Rochester, NY schools for 30 years sharing her undeniable talent fostering creativity in her students!
In addition to Domenico Scarves, Carol juries select artists while canvassing the vibrant and local talent in Rochester, NY to become a part of her studio. Today there are 8 artists at Studio312 showcasing a variety of mediums from fiber arts, mixed media, watercolor, oil, acrylics, pottery, silver jewelry and stained glass collage.
